Psi Epsilon Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.® Hosts Virtual Candidate Forum for Prince George’s County Residents
WHO: Psi Epsilon Omega Chapter (PEO) of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®
WHAT: Circuit Court for Prince George's County Candidates’ Forum
WHY: In preparation for the 2024 General Election, the forum will help community residents learn about the candidates running for the Prince George’s County Circuit Court. Likewise, PEO will facilitate a discussion on the importance of voting and encourage voters to complete the entire ballot or “down ballot” vote during this consequential election season.
This event is open to the public and will allow community members to ask questions to each candidate. Participants in the candidates’ forum include: Judge Cheri Simpkins, Judge Donnell Turner, Judge Stenise Rolle and Judge Darren Johnson.
“Psi Epsilon Omega is excited to provide a platform for Prince George's County residents to learn more about the candidates who are currently running for Circuit Court and the importance of voting, ” said Karen Hicks, PEO President. “We encourage voters to verify their registration status and cast their ballot during this and every election.”
