Lt. Col. Rudolph E. Turco, USAF, Ret.

Lt. Col. Rudolph E. Turco, USAF, Retired, age 67, of Duncansville, Pennsylvania, formerly of Bowie, Maryland, died Saturday evening, October 14, 2023 at his home, after an over 20 year battle with Huntington’s Disease. He was born May 9, 1956 in Denver, Colorado, a son of the late Joseph Edgar “Ed” and Janice (Miller) Turco.

He is survived by two sons: Joe Turco of Maryland and Alan Turco of Vermont; two brothers: Steven (Doreen) Turco of Virginia and Randy (Robin) Turco of Maryland, and a sister, Sandy Vogel (Dave) of Maryland.

Rudy was a 1974 graduate of Bowie High School and a 1984 graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi. He served in the US Air Force from 1975 until retirement in 2002, earning rank of Lieutenant Colonel.

He enjoyed woodworking, backpacking, and gardening.

There will be no public services.

Private interment with Military Honors will take place at Arlington National Cemetery.
