Local Sorority Uses Juneteeth Holiday to Push Voter Registration

In honor of Juneteenth, the women of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Psi Epsilon Omega Chapter, have launched an online voter registration campaign to encourage residents in the communities they serve (Laurel, Bowie, and Greenbelt) and beyond to make their voices heard in local, state, and federal elections. The online tool, shared in the video, will allow first-time voters to register and registered voters to verify their status and update relevant information. It’s never too early to arm yourself with the best tool to effect positive change in your community.
