Navy sailor from Bowie conducts nautical drill aboard warship

A Navy sailor from Bowie took part in a photographic intelligence drill aboard a warship in the Pacific Ocean Oct. 5, according to the U.S. Navy Office of Community Outreach.

U.S. Navy Personnel Specialist Seaman Abdurehim Jufar of Bowie participated in a ship nautical drill known as otherwise photographic intelligence exploitation, or SNOOPIE aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer USS Wayne E. Meyer (DDG 108). 

The Wayne E. Meyer is currently operating with the Nimitz Carrier Strike Group in preparation for an upcoming deployment.
