Registration is now open for the 2022 Maryland Center for School Safety (MCSS) summer conference, which takes place July 12-13, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

This year's conference is focused on a "collaborative approach" to school safety with presentations on suicide prevention, bullying, pandemic behavior, substance abuse, partnerships with public safety and more. Participants also can obtain information on school safety grants, upcoming training opportunities and other resources.

This free event is geared toward school staff and community stakeholders: educators and administrators, school counselors and social workers, mental health and crisis intervention specialists, school security, law enforcement and emergency managers.
