The deadline has been extended to April 6 to enter the lottery for the Talented and Gifted (TAG) Center middle and elementary school programs. Students must have met the Prince George's County Public Schools criteria for TAG services before the lottery runs.

If selected in the lottery, TAG-identified students in grades 2-8 would attend school at the one of the following TAG Center locations:

• Accokeek Academy
• Benjamin Tasker Middle
• Capitol Heights Elementary
• Glenarden Woods Elementary
• Greenbelt Middle
• Heather Hills Elementary
• Kenmoor Middle
• Longfields Elementary
• Mattaponi Elementary
• Valley View Elementary
• Walker Mill Middle

Although TAG services are offered in all schools, students who qualify for the TAG program have the option to participate in the program at their attendance area school or submit a specialty program lottery application to attend a TAG Center. For more information, read the TAG brochure or visit the TAG website.
