The Prince George’s County Memorial Lynching Project and the Alabama-based Equal Justice Initiative have extended the deadline to April 15 for their Racial Justice Essay Contest. A total of at least $5,000 in scholarship money will be awarded to the essay winners. The contest is open to students in grades 9-12 who attend Prince George's County Public Schools. For more information, visit the contest website.
