In honor of Black History Month, on February 19 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Bowie City Hall, the Diversity Committee invites the community to "The Power of Storytelling: Black Voices in Literature and Poetry" on This engaging and reflective event will celebrate the richness of Black literature and poetry while exploring how storytelling preserves history, shapes identity, and strengthens cultural understanding through powerful voices and shared experiences.
