Tom Adams and Joy Jones, authors of the recenlty released book, A Marriage That Changed The World: Lois and Bill Wilson and the Addiction Recovery Movement, will kick off this free and open to the public event with an engaging dicussion on the Wilsons from 5-6pm on April 27.

Following the book discussion, there will be a screening of the PBS award-winning documentary film Bill W., which tells the inspiring story of Bill Wilson, one of the co-founders of Alcoholics Anonymous. This event is unlike any other, as it combines the story of Lois and Bill’s marriage and their legacy with a powerful film screening to foster deeper understanding, connection, and hope for those in recovery and their loved ones.

The goal is to make this event accessible to everyone who wishes to come, which is why it is completely free of charge to the public, broadening public understanding of addiction and recovery for individuals and families. A Marriage That Changed The World will be available for purchase and signing after the event. It is also available for purchase in paperback and ebook: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DSLFXW6V
