The Bowie Diversity Committee invites community members to join the next #BowieSpeaks community conversation, celebrating Black History Month with the theme “Voices United: The Impact and Future of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.” The event will take place from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at City Hall on February 25. This theme delves into the erasure of civil rights progress, the impact of dismantling DEI efforts, and the critical role of unity in shaping a new American landscape. It highlights the importance of educating and celebrating Black history while reflecting on the past and forging pathways for the future. For more details, contact Allyssa Jarrett at ajarrett@cityofbowie.org.
The City of Bowie Diversity Committee supports the City's diverse and multicultural community by hosting events dedicated to fostering meaningful dialogue and educating the community.
