Vote on Primary Election Day. Election day polling places will be open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. on May 14, 2024.

Polling places: Election day voting will be held at your assigned polling place. Find your polling place on the state board of elections website: https://voterservices.elections.maryland.gov/PollingPlaceSearch

U.S. Senator and U.S. House of Representatives

Voting reminders:

If you voted early, you cannot vote on the day of the Primary Election or by mail-in ballot.
Find information about voter registration on the state board of elections website
If you need special accommodations to vote, see the state board of elections page on voters with disabilities.
If you have been convicted of a felony and have completed serving a court-ordered sentence of imprisonment, you are eligible to register to vote, according to the state board.
You do not qualify to register to vote if you have been convicted of buying or selling votes.

Early voting is not new in the state, dating back more than a decade in Maryland, according to the state board.
