Six-time Grammy winning vocalist Dionne Warwick will for the first time have a theater named in her honor. Bowie State University's Fine and Performing Arts Center will be renamed the Dionne Warwick Theater during a star-studded unveiling April 1.
Invited guests include rapper Doug E. Fresh and gospel singer BeBe Winans. Warwick and Bowie State President Aminta Breaux also are expected at the ribbon-cutting. The event is free and open to the public, but attendees are asked to RSVP:
