The Prince George’s County Lynching Memorial Project is calling for entries for its Racial Justice Essay and Creative Arts Contests. The competitions are open to Prince George’s County students in grades 9-12.

Scholarships totaling $3,000 or more will be awarded to winning entrants. This is the second year PGC LMP has held this contest.

Original entries may include written essays, poetry/spoken word or visual arts. Works should shed light on either present day or historical racial injustice.
