The City of Bowie is accepting nominations for the Hall of Honor, which posthumously recognizing Bowie citizens who have made “major and lasting contributions” to the city.  

According to the city, a nominee must:

• Be deceased for at least one year as of the nomination deadline.
• Have made both a major and lasting contribution to the City of Bowie.
• Have been a resident of the City of Bowie during the time of their contribution or at the time of their death.

The deadline for nominations is March 6 at 5 p.m. Nomination forms are available at www.cityofbowie.org/hallofhonor.
