What would Bowie be without the arts? Think: the Bowie Center for the Performing Arts, the Bowie Playhouse, the art gallery at Bowie City Hall and the new mural of Martin Luther King Jr.? The city welcomes creative ideas to expose residents to the arts, such as a community band or public performance.  Apply for an Arts Grant of up to $18,000 to fund your project.  Applications are due Oct. 15 by 5 p.m.
