The April meeting of the Northern Prince George's County Republican Club will feature Sharon Carrick of Bowie, president of the Maryland Federation of Republican Women.

Active in Republican politics since 1994, she ran for District 36 delegate (losing to the Democrat incumbent) and as a member of the Queen Anne's County Central Committee for 17 years, where she served as Secretary, Treasurer and Chairman.

At the level of statewide Republican leadership, she served 2 years each as treasurer and secretary of the Maryland GOP. Since 2023, Sharon has served as treasurer of the Senate Republican Caucus Committee.
