GREENBELT, Md.- A total solar eclipse is set to cover part of the United States on Monday. Residents of the DMV will be able to experience a partial eclipse with the moon covering 90 percent of the sun. Scientists recommend wearing solar eclipse glasses to limit sun exposure and see a clear image of the event. This will be the last solar eclipse over the United states until 2045.
